Rakoa Charters
The vessel can accommodate up to eighteen people so don't be afraid to invite everyone along! Rakoa is easy to charter and can be yours for however long you need her:
- Three hours
- Four hours
- Five hours
- Full day - 8am to 4pm

Rakoa 3-Day Cruises
Only half a day's travel away, Great Barrier Island offers some of the most spectacular fishing and diving you're likely to find in New Zealand.
Rakoa Charters offer a three-day expedition for up to eight people to revel in all the Barrier has to offer:
- explore the Northern Pinnacle's natural formations where the mountains meet the sea
- investigate Arid Island to the East
- cruise the Fitzroy and Tryphena harbours
- enjoy the excellent fishing and diving of the Broken Islands group
- stay in the tranquil surroundings of Smokehouse Bay by evening
Booking Terms & Conditions
Deposit
We'll need 30% of the charter rate to confirm your booking
Payment
Balance is due on the day before your charter if you are paying by direct bank transfer.
Alternatively, cash can be paid on the day.
Cancellations
If you're able to give us seven (7) days notice, we can refund 100% of your deposit and no additional fees will be charged.
If we get less than seven days notice, we'll have to retain your deposit to cover our costs. No additional fees will be charged.
We strongly encourage communication! If you leave it to the last minute before cancelling - that's less than 72 hours notice - we'll retain your deposit and you'll be invoiced for the full cost of the charter. Obviously, we don't want to do this and would much rather show you a great time aboard our fantastic boat, so get in touch early if you think there might be a problem with your booking.
